A thank you from Goodwill

Dear Editor,
I would like to extend my thanks to all of Goodwill’s community supporters, donors, and shoppers for supporting Goodwill, whether they bring us their previously-loved items, purchase new items to love, or speak kindly about us to their friends and families.
It is the support of the people in Nicholasville and the surrounding area that make Goodwill’s mission possible. Donations from the community allow us to fund critical job training and employment services throughout the state of Kentucky, including right here in Jessamine County. Last year, we were able to place Kentuckians into more than 2,800 jobs, and we paid more than $15 million in wages to people with disabilities or other challenges. We hope you are proud to have contributed to that success.
Again, we thank the community for their generosity. Goodwill could not continue to make paychecks possible for those in need of employment without the local donors and shoppers that help fund our mission.
Best regards,
Josh Pierce, Vice President of Retail
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky
