—Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church located on 1001 Mt Lebanon Pike in Nicholasville will host a revival beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 26 through Friday, March 31. During the week, the revival will begin at 7 p.m. Evangelist Dan Frederick will host. 

—First Assembly of God, as well as other churches in the community, has joined a group called “Intercessors for America.” The purpose of the group is to pray for God’s divine guidance for the leaders of federal, state, counties and cities. The “Intercessors of America will meet on the last Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. This month’s meeting will be hosted on March, 28 at the First Assembly of God Church, located at 1701 Wilmore Road. Future meetings will occur in other churches as they join in prayer as well as on the courthouse lawn in warmer weather. —First Assembly of God will have a prayer tent set up in the Edgewood Plaza once a month. During March, it will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 18. —Bethany Christian Church C.W.F will host a chili supper at 6 p.m. on March 18. Supper includes chili, a sandwich, dessert and a drink for a $5 charge. 

—Nicholasville First Assembly of God is having a full-time evangelist from Corona, California come to the church to speak at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 18 and 10:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 19. All is welcome. Dea Warford has pastored for around 15 years, and he has preached in all 50 states. —A prayer meeting will be hosted every Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. at Sonlight Fellowship Church of God at 216 E. Oak St. Everyone is welcome. 

—Edgewood Baptist Church will host Palm Sunday Service at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 9. Special music will be provided by the Sanctuary Choir. 

—Edgewood Baptist Church will host JCMA Holy Week Services at 12 p.m. on April 10 through 14. 

—Edgewood Baptist Church will host Maundy Thursday Service at 5:30 p.m. on April 13. This service will include a meal, worship and Lord’s Supper. 

—Edgewood Baptist Church will host an Easter Celebration Service at 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 16. Donuts, coffee and juice will be provided. Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:15 a.m. and Morning Worship will be at 10:30 a.m. with special music by the Sanctuary Choir. No Evening Worship. 

—Edgewood Baptist Church will host a Power Revival on April 29 and 30. 

—Women’s Bible study will meet Thursday mornings from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Nicholasville Salvation Army, located at 205 South 1st Street. —Saint Athanasius Orthodox Church, 100 Lime Lane, offers free bread to families and individuals in need in the Nicholasville area. Saint Athanasius distributes this bread, supplied by Panera Bread, every Sunday from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.

—Providence Christian Church, 101 Providence Way, hosts a “Bodies in Motion” low-impact exercise class every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.

—Walking With Love’s Laundry Love ministry is offered every third Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m. at Wildcat Laundry, 630 Edgewood Drive. Households of up to four people can do a double load of laundry for free; households of more than four people can do a triple-load of laundry for free. Anyone can use the service, but each household is limited to using it once every three months. An I.D. will be requested in order to track how often households are using the service.

—Walking With Love Food Pantry at 220 Edgewood Drive is open from 12 to 2 p.m. and from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

—Free meal offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday at 303 W. Maple Street in the Community Center of Nicholasville United Methodist Church. The meal is a restaurant-quality hot, nutritionally balanced meal.  Take out meals are also available, one meal per person. The meal is funded by freewill donations from churches, businesses, and residents of Jessamine Co. No one is ever asked to pay for their meal. Volunteers are always welcome.
