City Commissioner Andy Williams visited Frankfort on Thursday, Feb. 16, to discuss local issues with legislators, and to sit in on committee meetings to learn about the process of how bills are passed. 

“That’s an experience many on my level very seldom get to see,” Williams said. 

Williams was invited by Russ Meyer to got to Frankfort several years ago, but was unable to attend due to work. Now that he is retired, Williams said he jumped on the learning opportunity. 

“It was a very, very good thing for me to be able to go to,” Williams said.
