A Jessamine County woman has been arrested several months after she escaped police during a chase.
Ladonna Hacker led Nicholasville police on a chase through a school zone in Jessamine County while under the influence of methamphetamine back in May, Nicholasville Police Officer Keven Grimes said. Hacker’s 13-year-old daughter was in the car during the chase, Grimes said.
During the chase, Hacker struck the left-side mirror of another car while fleeing from officers, according to a collision report.
Hacker escaped and has been wanted by police since.
Hacker told LEX18 that her daughter was never in danger. She also said she is now clean, sober and ready to plead guilty and do her time, according to the TV station’s report.
Hacker is currently being held in the Lincoln County Regional Jail on unrelated burglary charges. She also faces multiple charges in Jessamine County related to the chase in May.
