The Jessamine County Grand Jury convened on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, and returned the following results in open court on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
• Officer Sam Hensley with the Wilmore Police Department requested a subpoena for lab results regarding an ongoing investigation and it was approved by the Grand Jury.
• Detective Adam Hall with the Kentucky State Police presented evidence regarding a sex abuse case and the Grand Jury passed it for further investigation.
• Daniel Baker and Lanny Green – First-degree burglary and first-degree robbery.
• Joseph Cavallari – First-degree criminal abuse.
• Joseph Culver – Receiving stolen property valued at $500 of more.
• Theodore Edenstrom – Flagrant nonsupport.
• Joshua Holman – Second-degree burglary and theft of controlled substances.
• James Jones – Second-degree burglary and second-degree robbery.
• Joshua Masters – First-degree criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking in marijuana, less than 8 ounces.
• Josiah Moore – First-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
• Daniel Perez – First-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence, second offense.
• Richard Philon – Trafficking in marijuana, 8 ounces to 5 pounds; receiving stolen property, firearm; receiving stolen property under $500 and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Richard Philon, Matthew Watson and Ashley Flaherty – First-degree robbery.
• Donald Russell and Mark Russell – Second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument (six counts for Mark, four counts for Donald).
• Rodney Rutherford and Chance Brewer – Third-degree burglary.
• Kimberly Basham – Driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and third-degree criminal mischief; Remand to District.
• Joseph Everett – Public intoxication and third-degree criminal mischief; Remand to District.
• Deznic C. Allen – This case was not presented and should be rescheduled for the July 26, 2017, docket.
