The Jessamine County Grand Jury convened on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 and returned the following indictments in open court on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017:
• Eugene D. Bodner — theft by unlawful taking, $500 or more
• John A. Cramer — first-degree robbery
• Rhonda Halcomb — operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs; first-degree promoting contraband
• Anthony Locker — operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs; failure to maintain required insurance/security; first-degree possession of a controlled substance; possession of marijuana
• William Mays — third-degree assault, three counts; first-degree persistent felony offender
• Howard F. Morton – operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, fourth offense; driving DUI suspended, second or subsequent offense; first-degree fleeing or evading; first-degree persistent felony offender
• Danny Newton, Jr. — first-degree wanton endangerment; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs; first-degree persistent felony offender
• George Patton – theft of identity of another
• Clavijo Vazquez — operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs with aggravator; no operators license; failure of owner to maintain required security/insurance; first-degree possession of a controlled substance
• Garnett Burchett — first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, three counts; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; possession of a defaced firearm; first-degree persistent felony offender
• Devin Eades — first-degree robbery
• Shajna Goodlett & Brandon Goodlett — theft by unlawful taking, value $500 or more; second-degree persistent felony offender (B. Goodlett)
• LaDonna Hacker — second-degree forgery
• Teresa Jackson — first-degree possession of a controlled substance
• Jonathan Perry — assault of family member or member of unmarried couple (two counts); violation of a domestic violence order (two counts)
• Thomas Shofner — second-degree burglary; they by unlawful taking, firearm
