Two adults have been charged in connection with a recently found teen who went missing from Jan. 3 to Jan. 11.
Tonya Childers, 52, of Harrodsburg and Gaige Thomas, 18, of Lexington were both charged by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office with unlawful transaction with a minor in the 3rd degree — a Class A misdemeanor.
Victoria Madison Birch, 17, was found in Mercer County on Wednesday, Jan. 11. The teen was located due to a joint effort between the Jessamine County Sheriffs Office and the Mercer County Sheriffs Office. Birch went missing from the Imperial Point Apartments in Nicholasville on Jan. 3.
