Frank Carleton Weymouth, 92, husband of Mary K Weymouth, passed away on August 20, 2023 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY. Frank was born in New Gloucester, Maine on July 6, 1931 to the late Frank Weymouth Sr. and Doris Weymouth Marston. After graduating from Freeport High School in Freeport, ME in 1949, he served in the Maine National Guard from 1948-1950 and the U.S. Army from 1950-1953. He was an electrical engineer with The Protectowire Co. Inc. in Pembroke, MA for over 23 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 8 in Lexington, KY, a Honorary Member of The Knights of Columbus in Nicholasville, KY, The Moose Lodge 2485 in Plymouth, MA and also The Moose Lodge 2686 in Nicholasville, KY. Frank enjoyed traveling the world with his wife and family, he was an avid reader, crossword puzzle master and loved fishing, boating, gardening and golfing. He was a number one fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. Frank was a family man and not only attended every family function, but made sure to cook everyone’s favorite dishes. In addition to his loving wife of 44 years, Mary K, he is also survived by his daughters, Mary Ord and Kathy (Dave) Cuzick; seven granddaughters, Melinda Sue Burgess of RI, Becky Roy Murphy of TN, Briana Mary (Micheal) Heaney of CA, Brittany Kay Brandon, Alexandra Kay (Taylor) Stai, Anna Catherine Ord and Elizabeth Mary Ord of KY. Siblings, Leon Weymouth of MA, Robert (Arlene) Marston of ME, Janice Noyes of FL and Joan (Dwight) Edgerly of ME. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs Puff and Pete. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his son, Robert Bradley Weymouth; sisters, Norma Davis and Joyce Waterman; brothers, Everett Weymouth and Ronald Marston. A gathering for Mr. Weymouth will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Clark Legacy in Nicholasville at 12pm. The memorial service will begin at 1pm. Frank will be laid to rest Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden, MA at 1pm. Memorial contribution may be made in honor of Mr. Weymouth to Boys Town New England.
