Nicholasville Police are investigating a robbery at the Farmers Bank on East Brannon Road.

According to the Nicholasville Police Department’s (NPD) Public Information Officer, Sam Wade, the NPD received an alarm call at about 1:15 p.m. on Friday.

After sending officers to the scene, bank staff informed officers that they had just been robbed. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot. He was described as a short male wearing a tie-dye shirt, a blue zip-up hoodie, blue jeans, sunglasses, a surgical mask and blue surgical gloves.

Officers and detectives are now checking in with nearby businesses to find out if there are any witnesses to locate the robber.
