County clean-up scheduled for March 25-April 1

The Jessamine County Fiscal Court and Environmental Services recently announced its annual county-wide clean-up.
The event offers residents free disposal of residential debris from March 25 – April 1 event, citizens at either the Jessamine County Road Department in Nicholasville at 400 Park Drive or Wilmore at 305 West Linden St.
Hours for both sites will be Saturday, March 25 through Saturday, April 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., but will be closed on March 26.
The types of debris accepted at the designated dumping sites and/or picked up at curbside must follow certain restrictions: Absolutely no commercial debris such as shingles, dry wall, etc. Bricks, concrete blocks, asphalt, wet paint, dirt, normal household waste such as daily trash and food garbage, storm brush and tires are also unacceptable items and will not be picked up/accepted. If a curbside pile has these items in it, none of the pile will be picked up.
County residents have curbside pickup available, and all residential debris must be on the curb before 8 a.m. on March 25.
Nicholasville residents must bring debris to the Jessamine County Road Department at 400 Park Drive in Nicholasville. There will no curbside pickup.
Wilmore residents should bring debris to 305 West Linden St. There will be no curbside pickup for Wilmore either.
Shingles, drywall, commercial debris and tires should be taken to the Jessamine County Convenience Center at 123 Hendren Way in Nicholasville, It is open on Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is closed on Saturday. Charges will be at the normal rate.
