Nicholasville man arrested for DUI, marijuana
Kenneth Ray Todd, 57, of 3030 Lexington Road in Nicholasville, was arrested Dec. 16 for DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Todd was observed driving on the shoulder of US 27 near the entrance of Martin Luther King Blvd. and appearing to be in need of assistance. When officers arrived, Todd was at the rear of the vehicle and appeared to be trying to remount a trailer that had become unhitched.
According to the citation, Todd went to the passenger side of the vehicle to locate some tools, at which time the officers detected a strong smell of marijuana. After reading him his Miranda rights, officers asked Todd where the smell of marijuana was coming from. He allegedly told them his left inside jacket pocket. After placing Todd under arrest, officers asked him when was the last time he had smoked, which he allegedly replied, “about an hour ago in my truck.”
After searching Todd, a marijuana pipe was also confiscated, according to the citation.
Todd was transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Wilmore woman arrested for robbery
Shelbie Staton, 18, of 314 Bellavue in Wilmore, was arrested Dec. 13 for second-degree robbery, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers responded to 141 Cypress in reference to an assault. A female on scene advised that a Staton and a black male assaulted a victim with a metal pole and drove off. The victim stated they knew Staton personally and had contacted her to sell her Victoria Secret gift cards at half price. After the gift cards were in Staton’s possession, the male subject jumped out and told them to give them their money, and struck them several times with the metal pole. The subjects drove off in a red car, and the victim stated they did not give them any money.
Staton was later found at a residence in Wilmore and denied assaulting the victim. Staton was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Nicholasville man arrested for selling marijuana
Drew Bragg, 21, of 414 Laurel Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested Dec. 13 for trafficking in marijuana, according to ta citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers executed a search warrant at Bragg’s residence. During the search, a large bag of marijuana was located inside a backpack. Inside the backpack, the officers also located a handgun. Several scales with marijuana residue were also located inside Bragg’s room, along with a glass pipe and a bong. Under Bragg’s mattress, several hundred dollars were also located folded up, according to the citation.
Bragg was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
Nicholasville man arrested for DUI, other charges
Jerry L. Neumeier, 37, of 300 W. Chestnut St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Dec. 16 for DUI, operating a vehicle with an expired license and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers observed a red Ford pick up in a no parking zone. Neumeier was seen walking to the store with an unsteady gait and smelled of alcohol, according to the citation.
Neumeier allegedly told officers he had drank a “tall boy” beer before he left the house. A field sobriety test was performed, which Neumeier failed. Upon search, a marijuana pipe was located in Neumeier’s left front pocket.
Neumeier was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Danville man arrested for stolen firearm, marijuana
Tristan McKay Coffey, 20, of 500 Logan Ave. in Danville, was arrested Dec. 12 for speeding 19 mph over the limit, receiving stolen property (firearm), trafficking in marijuana and carless driving, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers observed Coffey’s vehicle traveling North on US 27 swerving in his lane after passing Catnip Hill. Officers stopped Coffey near Kohl’s drive, and observed a firearm laying on papers in the glove compartment when Coffey attempted to retrieve his insurance information.
Backup was called, and officers on scene were able to confirm the firearm as stolen. A bag of suspected marijuana was also located on the floor behind the drivers seat.
Coffey was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Lindsey Kaye Harris, 30, of 218 Epworth Ave. in Wilmore, was arrested for failure to complete drug program.
— Samuel Guzman, 27, of 322 Thacker Drive in Wilmore, was arrested for failure to appear.
— Nicholas Yowell Kulaga, 21, of 2620 Bridlewood St. in Circleville, Ohio, was arrested for trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana, expired out of state plate and failure to produce insurance card.
— Evan Stewart Noplis, 27, of 112 Vincewood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested for trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).
— Charles E. Duh, 27, of 101 Charlotte Circle in Nicholasville, was arrested Dec. 10 for failure to pay, fourth-degree assault, non-compliant with court order, failure to appear and theft by unlawful taking.
— William Beer, 34, of 6025 Tates Creek Road in Nicholasville, was arrested Dec. 10 for a Madison County warrant.
— Hallie Gordan, 50, of 117 Griffen Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Dec. 10 for theft by unlawful taking (firearm), failure to appear and fraudulent use of a credit card.
— Aaliyah Nimat Muhammand, 42, of 892 Union Mill Road in Nicholasville, was arrested Dec. 10 for non-payment of court fees.
— Heather M. Bush, 25, of 448 Corman Road in Nicholasville, was arrested Dec. 10 for failure to appear.
