Macedonia Baptist Church Christmas cancer fundraiser
Macedonia Baptist Church, located at 103 Cushingberry Lane in Keene, announced it will be having a “Christmas is for Caring” event at 3 p.m. Sunday to help a church member who is currently battling cancer. Dinner begins at 1 p.m., and donations will be accepted. For more information, contact Pastor Reginald Davis at 502-320-1414.
Brookside Baptist Church Nativity Narrative
Brookside Baptist Church, located at 1351 Wilmore Road in Nicholasville, will host a Nativity Narrative on Sunday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. There will be multiple nativity displays and a narrative of the Christmas story. Refreshments will be served.
Nicholasville Christian Church Busy Bodies Exercise Group
Nicholasville Christian Church is offering a free Busy Bodies Exercise Group at 10 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays in the small fellowship hall. The church is located at 104 S. Second St. Everyone is welcome. The group features senior appropriate exercises to target strength, mobility and balance. For more information, call 859-888-4311.
New Haven Chapel moves to new location
New Haven Chapel Church, located at 100 Southview Drive in Nicholasville, is moving to a new location. The church will now be located at 924 S. Main St. in the Lilly Spring shopping center. All are welcome.
Edgewood Baptist announces Christmas events
Edgewood Baptist Church, located at 717 S. Main St., announced the following events for the Christmas season. At noon today the Senior adult potluck program will take place in the fellowship hall featuring turkey, ham, bread and drinks also provided. Also plan to bring your favorite dish of a veggie, salad or dessert. Kelly Herrington will be performing. At 6 p.m. Sunday, the adult choir Christmas program will perform “Christmas is Jesus.” Christmas Worship will take place Dec. 23 at 9:15 a.m. for GROW groups and 10:30 a.m. for worship. The Christmas eve candlelight service is scheduled for 6 p.m. Dec. 24.
Wilmore Anglican Church meeting at Asbury
