Josie Deatherage finished her dominating season on the mound collecting her eighth win, with seven strikeouts, just six hits, and three runs. Deatherage’s complete game marks her 16th of the season.
In game two it was all Eagles. Taylor Enlow, Kaitlyn Wilson, Katelyn Bolin, and Kaylee Korros all collected multi-hit games. Sidney Hansen took the mound for the Eagles collecting her second win of the season. Hansen in five innings allowed no earned runs on just two hits, striking out four. This completes the 2024 season for the Asbury softball team, finishing at 13-20 on the year.
When asked about the games head coach Ally Moore had this to say, “The team played two of their best games of the season. We made great plays on the field and hit top to bottom in the lineup. It was a great way to end the year and send off our senior, Taylor Enlow. The future of this program is bright!”
Eagle Awards

The event was held in the Asbury Walt and Rowena Shaw Collaborative Learning Center, and was an end of the year celebration for all athletes and coaches, while also recognizing athletes who performed at the highest level. Asbury Athletics fields 16 teams of competition and over 200 student-athletes. The night has not been in-person since 2019 when the ceremony was hosted at the Asbury Miller Center for Communications & Arts. For the past four years the Eagle Awards have been virtually released on social media, recognizing AU student-athletes that have excelled in competition and also in the classroom.
