Nancy Lou Landon Dean, 91, widow of William Robert Dean, Sr., died Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Lexington Country Place. Born January 9, 1932 in Oakland, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ada Hostetler Landon. She was a Homemaker and a longtime member of Harrodsburg Christian Church. Nancy enjoyed her flowers, cooking, arts and crafts, ceramics, working word search puzzles and jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include one son William R. (Denise) Dean, Jr. of Nicholasville; three daughters: Linda Marie (Stephen) Bokros of Nicholasville, Lois Ann (Mike) Pasley of Nicholasville, and Nancy J. Yeaste of Harrodsburg; two brothers: Ralph (Kathy) Landon and Richard (Marg) Landon all of Ohio; two sisters: Alice Bell of Maryland and Rose Parks of West Virginia; eight grandchildren: Stephen Scott Bokros, Eric Jon Bokros, Melanie Cruce Rogers, Jessica Nicole Smith, Micheala Selby, Patrick Dean, Tyler Dean, and Christy Yeaste; twenty one great- grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren; her special friend Linda Chambers and her friends from Dairy Queen and Harrodsburg Christian Church also survive.

She was preceded in death by one son Charles F. Dean, three brothers: Wayne, Harold, and Eddy Landon, and one grandson Joseph William Bokros.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Pastor Micki McHugh officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Eric Bokros, Scott Bokros, Melanie Cruce Rogers, Derek Bokros, Eric Selby, Tyler Dean, and Jessica Nichole Smith serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Dean, Mike Pasley, Mike Dean, Slade Smith, and Luke Dean.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
