Mildred Walton Carr, 88, widow of John T. Carr passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021, at her home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on February 16, 1933, to the late Thomas Walton and Virginia Carrier Walton. Mildred was a homemaker and member of Bethel Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Michael Thomas Carr (Jeannie), daughter, Linda Moffett (Clyde) sister, Virginia Thompson, three grandchildren, William Cleo Taylor (Rachel), Ashley Cruickshank (Chris), and Jamie Noe (Terry), eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by three infant daughters, two grandsons, Joseph Casey Carr, and Micah Lawrence and two brothers. Graveside Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday July 13, 2021, at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve the Carr family.
