Wayne Douglas Brandenburg, 75, husband of Cheryl Caywood Brandenburg of 54 years, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020.

Wayne was the owner of Brandenburg Heating & Air. 

In his spare time, he loved to go fishing and was always known as an animal lover.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Lisa Brandenburg, Lexington; sisters, Linda (Bill) Stephens, Sue (John) Royalty and Carole (Eldon) Cobb and his brother, Jack (Brenda) Brandenburg, all of Nicholasville.

Visitation was held Oct. 23, 2020, at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing with a service that followed at 11 a.m. Burial was at Lexington Cemetery. Tommy Cobb officiated the service. Casketbearers were Tommy Cobb, Brian Stephens, Bill Stephens, Jared Cobb, Eldon Cobb and Norman Jennings.
