I’m one of those 769 Democrats that Republican Robert Barney called with his so-called survey about the Confederate statue downtown.

Barney spent most of the conversation bashing Democratic candidate Carolyn Dupont and saying things about her that weren’t true.

He failed to mention that Mitch McConnell and Daniel Cameron also wanted the Jefferson Davis statue removed from the state Capitol.

If it was supposed to be a survey, why didn’t he just ask his questions and hang up?

Somebody is pulling some dirty, dishonest tricks.
