Two adults and a juvenile were arrested Monday night after allegedly holding another juvenile against his will.

According to Nicholasville Police, 18-year-old Justin Carter, 29-year-old Treymar Lee and an unidentified juvenile were all charged.

Officers were called to Cherry Brook Drive in the Orchard subdivision around 7:30 p.m. Monday after the victim’s mother called police, Nicholasville Police Sgt. Kevin Grimes said. The three allegedly grabbed the victim, who is also a juvenile, and assaulted him. The victim was then pulled into a vehicle and driven away. Grimes said the juvenile was released a few blocks away.

Grimes said the four were acquainted with each other, and it was not a random crime.

Officers located the suspects’ vehicle about an hour later and stopped it before making the arrests.

Carter and Lee were both arrested and charged with kidnapping. They are being held in the Jessamine County Detention Center on a $5,000 cash bond, according to the jail website. Lee was also charged with trafficking in marijuana and was served three warrants.

Charges against the juvenile were not listed, and he was not identified because of his age.
