Nicholasville Elementary student helps save a life

Kaylee Smith was honored last Friday at Nicholasville Elementary School by the Jessamine County Emergency Management Service (EMS) for calling 911 and helping save the life of her mother, Julie Smith, when she was having a diabetic episode the previous week. Julie said, “She saved my life.”
