Sacred Concert pianist comes to Nicholasville United Methodist

Marilynn Ham is a nationally recognized sacred concert pianist and published arranger, who will be performing a free concert next weekend at Nicholasville United Methodist Church.
The concert is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, May 12, at 303 W. Maple St. in Nicholasville.
Ham served on the music faculty at Barclay College in Haviland, Kansas, for ten years and is an artist-in-residence at Bethel University.
Ham holds a bachelor of music degree from Northern Michigan University and a master of music degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with majors in piano performance.
She has been honored twice in her 10 years at Barclay College as Professor of the Year. Ham retired from teaching at Bethel University in 2018.
She is the best-selling keyboard arranger for Lillenas Publishing Company. She is also published by Alfred Publishing Company and FJH Music Company and has published 30 books of advanced sacred piano solos.
Ham has always been active as a church musician in the areas of accompanying and singing. She also offers concerts, chapel programs, workshops and master classes in schools and churches.
