East Jessamine High senior Kaitlyn Palumbo, of Nicholasville, launched an exolab experiment last month pertaining to the growth of edible heat tolerant plants in microgravity. She presented her research at the Kennedy Space Center and watched the launch of the Falcon 9 Dragon Resupply mission.
