Nicholasville man arrested for alcohol intoxication
David A. Smith, 47, of 201 N. Second St. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 15 for alcohol intoxication in a public place and second-degree promoting contraband, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the Marathon gas station on South Main Street near Chestnut concerning a male subject who was possibly intoxicated and stumbling around. Officers found Smith stumbling in the parking lot when hey arrived.
Smith was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center.
While being searched by jail staff, Smith was asked if he had any items on him that were not allowed in the jail facility, to which he responded “no.” After being searched, a bottle of vodka was allegedly found in his pants pocket.
Lancaster man arrested for fleeing scene of accident
Robert C. Vanpelt, 47, of 1274 High Bridge Road in Lancaster, was arrested June 17 for leaving the scene of an accident with failure to render aid or assistance, DUI and carrying a concealed weapon, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to Kevin Drive and Pinoak Drive for a hit-and-run collision. The vehicle, which fled the scene, was described to officers as a black Hummer. The reporting party was familiar with the subject, and told officers he was intoxicated when he left the scene, according to the citation.
Deputies located the vehicle in the median Southbound on US 27 at Hoover Pike with damage to the front right bumper.
Vanpelt was described as “manifestly under the influence,” according to the citation. A 9 mm pistol was found in the driver’s seat wedged next to the center console, and no Kentucky State Police conceal and carry permit could be located on Vanpelt.
Vanpelt was placed under arrest and transported to St. Joseph Jessamine for medical clearance and a blood test. After St. Joseph Jessamine completed the blood test showing a presence of alcohol of .215, Vanpelt continued to allegedly tell officers he had done nothing wrong.
Nicholasville man arrested for DUI
Tanner Josh Masters II, 19, of 104 Cottage St. in Nicholasville, was arrested on June 17 for DUI, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police department.
Officers were dispatched to the NPD parking lot in reference to a hit-and-run which had taken place earlier in the day. Masters pulled into the parking lot and advised officers his car had been struck by another vehicle.
While speaking with Masters, officers allegedly could smell marijuana, and after taking the information for his collision report, asked Masters if he had been smoking marijuana.
Master allegedly told officers he had smoked earlier in the day, and officers asked Masters to submit to a field sobriety test, which he agreed to and failed.
Masters was placed under arrest for DUI, and while being searched, officers found a large sum of cash in his pocket. Officers did not count the money, although Masters allegedly told them it was $4,500. Officers then searched the compartment of the vehicle, where loose amounts of marijuana were found in both sides of the floor board of the back seat, in the rear left passenger seat of the vehicle, as well as the cup holder of the rear passenger door.
Masters was transported to St. Joseph Jessamine for a blood test, which he refused. He was then transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.
Pleasureville man arrested for methamphetamine
Timothy Eugene Morris, 34, of 147 Old Highway 22 in Pleasureville, was arrested June 14 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to Speedway at 979 N. Main St. Upon arrival, they spoke with Morris who presented them with his identification.
Upon further investigation, officers learned Morris had two open warrants and placed him under arrest. A search of the passenger compartment of his vehicle resulted in confiscation of a small amount of methamphetamine and several needles.
Nicholasville man arrested for marijuana and methamphetamine
Mark Hall, 29, of 453 Clearence Place in Nicholasville, was arrested June 14, for carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), according to a citation issued by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies observed Hall sitting in his vehicle on Catherine Drive.Deputies advised him there was a warrant out for his arrest.
A small bag, appearing to be marijuana, and a small bag containing what appeared to be methamphetamine were located on Hall, according to the citation. Hall was also allegedly in possession of brass knuckles.

— Rebecca A. Tye, 46, of 933 Jenny St. in Florence, was arrested June 11 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.
— Mary Crandall, 53, of 551 Goshen Cut Off #2 in Stanford, was arrested June 11 for theft by unlawful taking under $500 and failure to pay.
— Paul Shaw, 49, of 365 Ethel Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 11 for failure to appear.
— Bruce E. Mulch, 56, of 221 Young Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 11 for failure to pay, receiving stolen property and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
— James Lucas, 29, of 35 Leedean Circle in Nicholasville, was arrested June 12 for violation of a Kentukcy emergency protection order.
— Travis C. Kemp, 25, of 109 Wichita Drive #6 in Nicholasville, was arrested June 12 for failure to appear.
— Shanicque S. Taylor, 33, of 130 Circle Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 12 for failure to appear.
— Siryvonne Bell, 43, of 108 Holiday Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 12 for non-payment of court fees and a probabtion violation.
— Charles Parker, 24, of 321 Edgewood Drive #A in Nicholasville, was arrested June 12 for theft of identy of another without consent, no operators-moped license, failure to wear set belts and failure to produce insurance card.
— Kenneth Jett, 35, of 105 Perthshire Court in Nicholasville, was arrested June 12 for DUI and failure to maintain required insurance.
— Danielle Jett, 27, of 105 Perthshire Court #B in Nicholasville, was arrested June 12 for a probation violation.
— Robert B. Eary, 36, of 516 Savannah Court in Nicholasville, was arrested June 12 for failure to appear.
— Lindsey Harris, 29, of the Jessamien County Detention Center, was arrested June 13 for contempt.
— Scotty D. Barger, 46, of 507 Sandee Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 13 for alcohol intoxication in a public place.
— Bradley Reed Smith, 35, of 208 Longview Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 13 for failure to appear.

— Ashley Gore, 26, of 66 Coolbreeze in Nicholasville, was arrested June 13 for a Fayette County warrant.

— Mark Hall, 29, of 6169 Jacks Creek in Lexington, was arrested June 14 for a Grant County warrant.

— Richard Conner Corbett, 21, of 528 S. Main St. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 16 for speeding 19 MPH over the limit and DUI.
— Eric Himes, 39, of 9740 Camp Daniel Boone Road in Lexington, was arrested June 16 for theft by unlawful taking under $10,000.
— Philip J. Watts, 40, of 121 W. Brown St. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 16 for failure to appear and violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order.
— Goldie Whalen, 50, of 605 Shun Pike in Nicholasville, was arrested June 16 for alcohol intoxicatin in a public place.
— Krysta Lendea Emery, of 447 Butler Pike, was arrested June 17 for operating on a suspended license and failure to surrender revoked license.
— David R. McCollum, 42, of 1040 Logana Pike in Nicholasville, was arrested on June 17 for fourth-degree assault.
— Jon C. Ronemous, 29, of 103 Coffman St. in Slaughters, was arrested June 17 for contempt.
— Dakota Follmer, 19, of 224 Lakeview Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 17 for non-payment of court fees.
— Bryan T. Lunsford, 21, of 316 Richmond Ave. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 17 for contempt.
— Jordan Mcpherson, 21, of 405 Imperial PT in Nicholasville, was arrested June 17 for carrying a concealed weapon.
— Brandon Roberts, 38, of 254 Williamsburg Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 17 for fourth-degree asssault.
— Gregory A. Jacobs, 34, of 211 Mill St. in Nicholasville, was arrested on June 18 for reckless driving, speeding 26 MPH over the speed limit and operating on a expired license.
