EJMS May students of the month

— Sixth-graders Jessyca and Emily Searcy, daughters of Andrea Lawson, are recognized for being unique and sharing some absolute stellar traits. Both girls are described as amazingly hard workers, on the soccer field or in class. The staff at East Jessamine Middle School says Jessyca and Emily are kind, fun, intelligent, and just exceptional young ladies.
— Seventh-grader Brendan Christian, son of Sara and Steven Christian, is recognized for being a wonderful student who is always willing to help others. EJMS states he excels in his advanced classes and is also an active member of EJMS Junior Beta. Brendan is described by the staff at EJMS as very kind and friendly among his classmates and peers and is described as an all-around awesome kid.
— Eighth-grader Aidya Rathfon, daughter of Erika and Ryan Rathfon is recognized for displaying excellent character, outstanding behavior, and a positive attitude. In addition to her academic excellence, Aidya is a model student, who leads by example by showing genuine compassion for others. Aidya enjoys singing in the EJMS choir and had a role in our recent school musical, Once on this Island, Jr. The staff at EJMS says she embodies what it means to be student of the month.
