The Jessamine County FFA chapter successfully completed its third annual S.A.E. Showcase on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at the Jessamine Career and Technology Center.
At the event, former and current students took the opportunity to “showcase” their Supervised Agriculture Experience (S.A.E.) projects to not only agriculture students, but to their parents as well. The showcase was held to give students ideas and encourage them to create an S.A.E. they’d enjoy.
Our presenters this year included Jessica Doolin, Cheyenne and Zack Maxey, Ike Ducas, Quintin Nelton, Breanna Drury, James Larmour, Cassidy Napier, Rachel Archer, Joanna Crawford, James Hall, Kelly Murphy, Kate O’Connell and Jeff Fristo.
To top the evening off, food was provided to all in attendance, and every student’s name was entered into a drawing. Emily Baugh was the lucky winner of the drawing, and will receive $50 to go toward her S.A.E. This award is sponsored by the Jessamine County FFA Alumni.
There was a great turnout this year and we are looking forward to many more years to come!
