—First Assembly of God, as well as other churches in the community, has joined a group called “Intercessors for America.” The purpose of the group is to pray for God’s divine guidance for the leaders of federal, state, counties and cities. The “Intercessors of America will meet on the last Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the Jessamine County Courthouse lawn beginning in April and through the warmer weather. —Providence Christian Church, 101 Providence Way, hosts a “Bodies in Motion” low-impact exercise class every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.

—Walking With Love’s Laundry Love ministry is offered every third Tuesday of the month at 5 p.m. at Wildcat Laundry, 630 Edgewood Drive. Households of up to four people can do a double load of laundry for free; households of more than four people can do a triple load of laundry for free. Anyone can use the service, but each household is limited to using it once every three months. An I.D. will be requested in order to track how often households are using the service.

—Walking With Love Food Pantry at 220 Edgewood Drive is open from 12 to 2 p.m. and from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday.

—Free meal offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday at 303 W. Maple Street in the Community Center of Nicholasville United Methodist Church. The meal is a restaurant-quality hot, nutritionally balanced meal.  Take out meals are also available, one meal per person. The meal is funded by freewill donations from churches, businesses, and residents of Jessamine Co. No one is ever asked to pay for their meal. Volunteers are always welcome.
