A Nicholasville teen has been found after missing for more than a week. 

Victoria Madison Birch, 17, was found in Mercer County on Wednesday, Jan. 11. The teen was located due to a joint effort between the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office. Birch went missing from the Imperial Point Apartments in Nicholasville on Jan. 3.

“The teen is ok,” Chief Deputy Allen Peel said. 

Other individuals in Mercer County have been charged in connection with the location of the missing teen. 

“Thank goodness she’s ok and located,” Peel said. “That’s the main thing.”
